Meet Stephanie Nelson, LPC
Hi, I’m Steph! Fully Known was born out of a deep desire to create a space where women can breathe again, feel supported, and experience real healing. Inspired by Psalm 139, my hope is that you would find peace in knowing you are fully known and deeply loved by the God who created you.
I work with women of all ages who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, panic, trauma, identity struggles, relationship stress, or the pressure to hold everything together. As a foster, adoptive, and biological mother, I also care deeply about supporting fellow foster and adoptive moms through the unique grief, stress, and transitions that can come with that journey.
My approach is practical, holistic, and supportive. We will move at a pace that feels safe, and we will focus on sustainable tools you can use in everyday life. Whether you have a specific goal, want to process something painful, or simply need a steady place to talk, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
My Approach
Therapy can feel like a big step, especially if you are not sure what to expect. In our work together, you will find a calm, supportive space to show up as you are. We will move at a pace that feels safe, make room for what you have been carrying, and focus on practical tools you can use in everyday life. My approach is compassionate, grounded, and collaborative, so you feel both cared for and equipped as you move toward healing.
A calm, compassionate space where you can be honest
You do not have to “perform” or have the right words. We will start where you are, without judgment or pressure. You can share the messy, confusing, tender parts at a pace that feels safe.
Practical tools for anxiety, overwhelm, and emotional regulation
Simple skills you can use in the moment when you feel flooded. Grounding and calming strategies for your mind and body. Support noticing triggers and patterns, so you feel less “caught off guard” by anxiety.
Faith integration when you want it, without pressure or assumptions
Your preferences lead. We can include faith, prayer, and Scripture if that is meaningful to you. You will not be judged if you are struggling, unsure, or carrying questions. Faith will be integrated in a way that supports your healing, not used to minimize your pain.
Support processing hard experiences at a steady pace
Gentle, structured space to make sense of what happened and how it affects you now. We will not rush the work or push you into details before you feel ready. We will focus on helping you feel more stable and supported as you process.
Next Steps
